Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):
Partner with clients/suppliers to identify and drive value.
Implement strategic procurement in IT category
Support in Procurement Operational needs
Specific Accountabilities
Support the Group IT Procurement function in:
Interact with OpCo’s on spend performance
Conduct Spend Analysis
Prepare sourcing pack
Assist tendering, evaluation and negotiation
IT Contract Administration.
Working with the Group Technology and Group Procurement team to identify IT cost savings through synergies and outsourcing opportunities across OpCos
Review of vendor-related risks and development of mitigation strategies
Support in tender evaluation
Managing procurement reporting, including generation of supplier performance report, etc
Co-ordination with the OpCo Operations on implementation of Strategic products
Provide training on IT procurement
Work on any other assigned tasks
Desired Skills and Experience
Formal Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Business or related discipline(s)
Related Professional Training, Certification or Membership:

Preferred
Relevant professional certification in Purchasing, Procurement or related discipline(s)
Years & Field of Experience required:
6 to 8 years of experience in Procurement and Vendor management in IT Category.
Experience in preparing Sourcing pack, Tendering, Evaluation and Negotiation of IT contracts.
Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing.
Ability to read, interpret and write Contract terms and conditions.
Knowledge of IT practices and processes such as IT Operations and Support, Development life cycle, Software Licensing, Asset Management.
Understanding of IP rights and risks.
Strong Internal and External customer focus.
Experience in Managing complex operations distributed globally.
Managing Multiple vendors delivering products and services.
Monitoring and tracking Contract Life cycle.
